Ipsy May 2016 Subscription Review

FullSizeRender[2]

One little guilty pleasure of mine is a monthly subscription from Ipsy. It’s great to experiment with new products, and at a cost that you can’t get in stores – $10 for 5 items plus the bag. Bags vary based on your selected preferences, and here is what I got this month.

May 2016 Ipsy Subscription Review

The bag this month is a travel-related print. It has a snap closure. Cute!

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm:
The lip balm is soft and smooth, as it claims. It has a light fragrance, and the texture is very much like vaseline. While I like it, I don’t think I would reorder.

It Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner:
This eyeliner went on easily and stayed bold all day. It didn’t smudge through a full day, including running around in the sun. This was a real winner, and I will be wearing it regularly.

Formula Ten O Six Pores Be Pure Mud Mask:
I am trying this tonight, and I’m really excited. My face sure needs it! This brand has great reviews.

Mellow Electro Lipstick:
This lipstick is bright and orange-y. Not my style, but fun to play around with.

INSPR Fluff Brush:
A great make-up brush staple. In the past I’ve been happy with the quality from this brand.

Overall: Very happy with this bag. The eyeliner and brush I will use regularly, the lip balm and mask I will certainly use up. The lipstick is too wild for me, but it was fun to try. Thanks, Ipsy!
